Distribution Boards & Professional Lighting — Commercial Mall Maadi
A commercial mall in Maadi with 18 rental units across 3 floors. Work included separate distribution boards per unit, LED lighting for mall corridors, and protection systems for each tenant.
The core challenge was precisely isolating each commercial unit's consumption for accurate metering and independent disconnection, while ensuring a fault in one unit doesn't affect others.
Lighting was required for 14 hours daily, so high-efficiency LED fixtures were essential to reduce electricity bills and minimize maintenance.
3-phase main board (160A) with main meter and sub-meters per unit
18 Schneider iC60 sub-boards with independent RCCB per commercial unit
Full circuit labeling with clear tags inside each board
LED lighting (Philips CorePro) in mall corridors — 40% energy saving vs old fixtures
Independent emergency circuit with backup lighting (small UPS per floor)
Trip test for each RCCB with documented results in handover file
